Take In A Movie At Black Site Studios’ New Capri Cinema
September 7, 2020 by brennon
Black Site Studios has got two new wargaming terrain releases for you to check out this week. The first of these is The Capri Cinema which is set up for a superhero showdown and of course, makes a nice place to take your date!
The Capri Cinema // Blacksite Studios
This cinema has the look and feel of the roaring 20s and seems like a pretty picture-perfect representation of the classic American city. I can't help but think that it might also now be a little derelict inside and instead of eager movie-goers, it's now packed with criminals.
The building has been designed as a 32/40mm kit which makes it a pretty good option for those playing games like Marvel: Crisis Protocol. I think this would be perfect for the streets of Gotham City though and the theatre/cinema opposite Crime Alley where Batman's parents met their demise.
Raiding The Residents
As well as the cinema you can also check out The Bayer Residence which seems more apt for those undertaking classic zombie survival in America.
The Bayer Residence // Black Site Studios
This terrain is scaled to 28mm and would be a really nice fit for the likes of The Walking Dead. Additionally, you could also have fun with this in larger-scale games like Batman as the entryways certainly look like they would work for that game.
All of the terrain from Black Site Studios comes pre-painted/coloured so it's very easy to just glue it all together and start using it on the tabletop.
Are you going to check this out?

the cinema is fabulous looking.
The cinema is great!
I do love both designs, especially since they fit perfectly into Fallout 4’s designs so you could use them for that but why the flipping heck did they do such a poor job on the details on the cinema? I mean the read detail lines in the middle!
That cinema is worth building a board around alone. Great bit of design ?
