Check Out Beautiful New Laser Plants From GamersGrass!
February 2, 2022 by brennon
The team at GamersGrass has expanded their collection to now include a set of laser-cut plants (Laser Plants) that can be used to decorate your terrain and the bases of your wargaming miniatures. Take a peek!
How To Use GamersGrass Laser Plants
The range includes a variety of different options for you to choose from. A lot of them are based on plants that you'll know but others can come from far-flung worlds too!
Agave // GamersGrass
The range has been laser-cut to precision and features sturdy plants that should stand up to the wear and tear of wargaming. The main thing about it is that whilst these are obviously fake, it looks seriously real. It gets across the look and feel of plants of this type very nicely.

So, rather than spending absolutely ages cutting out your own grasses and bushes, you could simply drop these onto a base with a bit of PVA or superglue and away you go. I think these would be great for those working on dioramas or larger terrain pieces. They would also work well to bulk out a good base for your miniatures.
Monstera // GamersGrass
As mentioned, the range does feature a selection of great pieces which echo the plants we find here on earth but they have also been working on some weird and wonderful plants too. You can, for example, snap up the Alien Flytraps!

The collection contains these and one other alien plant for you to choose from. I would imagine if this all goes well then they will start to expand the range with even more options. I certainly think they look great and should make basing that little bit more flamboyant!
Could you be tempted by these and will you be picking up some for yourself?

They look fabulous another thing that popped into my head was camo painting patterns.
It is an interesting idea but I have enough of a backlog building models let alone building plants for the bases. I think this is one I would like to see a review of first to see how easy they are work with.
Yeah, I know they have them at Northumbrian Tin Soldier, and at North Star. I’m definitely going to get a few packs, maybe start with some of those science fiction plants, especially those Venus fly traps.
