Battle Systems Apocalypse Terrain Kickstarter – 18th September 2015
September 4, 2015 by brennon
Battle Systems are going to be heading to Kickstarter with their Apocalypse Terrain sets on the 18th of September 2015. Keep an eye out for it and check out the trailer above which gives you an idea of the kinds of scenarios you might be able to play out within it...
The buildings are looking superb with plenty of options for outdoors and indoors terrain. I love that the buildings have different floors and of course in true Battle Systems style they will have plenty of props and extra terrain pieces you can drop in to make things look derelict and dangerous.
Zombie attack, Post-Apocalyptic gang warfare or maybe just the devastated ruins of parts of Gotham in Batman could all be played in this setting.
What games would you play with this?

Not only is the terrain excellent, but the guys are very receptive to backers input.
Plus it’s usually completely insane. You’ll find us regulars there so any questions we can pretty much answer them.
I have their sci-fi terrain and it is amazing, so am looking forward to seeing what else the guys have in store with this one.
Looks good may be good for war of the worlds as well.
Crazy good stuff! Battle Systems are on fire! How I’d like to play Zombicide on this kind of terrain!
very cool 🙂
Been busy assembling my recently received dungeon terrain. These guys make a superb product, if post-apocalypse is your thing I’d recommend giving this project serious consideration…
Does anyone know if it will fit on the Zombicide tiles? So one could build the buildings/rooms using this and put it them on the tiles?
Possibly with this set…..in the previous sets due to the design each wall section is 4 inches so smallest room would be 4 inches by 4 inches. We have heard in this set because the walls do not have the sloped ramps at the bottom we may see 2 inch wall sections.
This has neither been confirmed or denied though. So possibly you will potentially be able to.
Apparently not, although the guys have played Zombicide on their terrain using some house rules.
At last! Excellent modernish buildings and interiors
I’m going to back this and use it for my developing fanboy
Game recreating XCom as a Tabletop Wargame

I spoke to the designers at salute this year and asked about the possibility of a zombicide compatable set and the bloke said that had been a very popular request but would not commit as to whether it’s something they would do.
Fingers crossed.
I backed both their sci-fi and fantasy terrain KS.
This one is most definitely on my wish list.
Backed both Sci-fi and Fantasy (I’m the idiot who build the pledge calculator both times), excellent terrain and so very cost effective. We’ve allready figured out how we’re going to convert Zombicide rules for the 1” square system of Battlesystems and did some trial runs on the fantasy set.
Wave at QoL, see you on the 18th!
I must admit this does look very good and the level of detail from the sample picture is more than I was expecting. I may have to look at this kickstarter and use them for either Zombicide or Batman.
I’ve backed the previous two Battlesystems Kickstarters and this one looks amazing. Sadly, due to the number of other Kickstarters in September I may not be backing this one because I simply don’t have a use for post apocalyptic terrain. Which is a shame because I think it looks awesome; i just can’t really justify it. However, the change in style to flat walls without the ramps at the base bodes well for the future and should they decide to do something similar for modern, future or fantasy towns/cities, I will definitely back.
