Battle Through New Grimdark Industrial Terrain From Kromlech

Set up a new battlefield with some more awesome MDF and resin terrain from the folks at Kromlech. They have recently added the new Mechanicum Industrial Sector to their range, offering up some new 28mm pieces for you to fight over in the grimdark future.
House Of Prayer // Kromlech
There are a good array of different pieces in this collection which properly set the scene when it comes to big, industrial worlds of the far future. As is classic with the grimdark world that Kromlech is looking to match, there are plenty of buildings venerating and bowing down to the machine god. Who wouldn't want to stage a defence of the House Of Prayer with whirring, grim and soulless automata and servitors?
Generator // Kromlech
What's cool about this terrain collection is that it offers up the chance to build a proper factory setting for the far future (or perhaps something post-apocalyptic) whilst also being good to make fortress and city boards as well. So much of this industry would be found in grimdark cities that it should be particularly useful.
Never say that the Mechanicum don't offer anything green though. There is also this massive (and very impressive) Green House which comes with transparent windows in the kit. You won't have to find some sheets of plastic to finish off your building!
Greenhouse // Kromlech
I like the idea of smashing this up a bit. I can't see that it would have survived a lot of the fighting in the grimdark future and it could be fun going in with a pair of clippers and breaking up that glass.
If you're looking to blow something up, you could also go with the Promethium Silo here. Set a few of these up on the tabletop and have them as key points that one side has to set explosives at in order to bring down the entire facility.

Maybe you could also find those Silo buildings attached to the Refinery Plant here by a series of pipes and walkways? I sense that these would go up pretty big should someone land a high explosive shell near them! Interactive tabletop terrain is the way to go.

If you're looking to actually stage a defence against the enemy then how about throwing this Watchtower into the mix? I could see this being a good place to slot your snipers and take some potshots at the enemy from on high.

As well as the larger buildings, you can also get your hands on some fun statement pieces which you could use to adorn the terrain pieces above or perhaps theme other terrain that you might have in your collection. You can get your hands on a few different Statues like the one below...
Saint Statue // Kromlech
...or this rather impressive Bell! Ring that and call forth the servants of the Omnissiah so that they may give their devotion to the machine!
Mechanicum Bell // Kromlech
I think the idea of doing a Dark Mechanicum twist on this terrain would be ace. You could really go to town with spikes, skulls and such and really defile these pieces if you liked. I could see someone taking that bell, cracking it and using it as some kind of fallen monument. OR, it could be turned into some Elden Ring-esque helmet for a Mechanicum Titan/Knight that has joined the forces of Chaos?!
What do you make of this range of terrain from Kromlech?

Wow. Things like the greenhouse. That’s something very cool and different for a change.
These look great. There’s never a Cafe or little bookshop in these grimdark future cities though. Perhaps a pub, or a bit of casual dining? Maybe if they had those there’d be fewer heretics?
There are some nice places mentioned in the Eisenhorn novels…shame they are few and far between though as you say.
I still want to get their Blood Bowl stadium!
Ooh that’s fabulous looking terrain let’s all praise Mike the Mechanic.
That house of prayer is way too expensive and way too big. I way too want one.
