Battle Through Gothic Streets With TTCombat’s Terrain
January 22, 2020 by brennon
TTCombat has been exploring more terrain this week with the release of more for their Sci-Fi Gothic range this weekend. Leading the way we have the Aedificium which is a building which has certainly seen better days.
This building has been given a battering by the enemy. I think that once you give a building a name it immediately gets a sense of awesomeness and you can start working it into your narrative. The Aedificium is clearly a very important building which needs to be protected, even in this ruined state. I imagine it contains key information and ways to transmit it so your soldiers will have to bleed in order to keep it from falling.
Taking a design from buildings from our world, we also have this Brownstone terrain kit.
With multiple floors, this is going to be a great way to watch over the streets and ambush your enemies. The different levels can be removed so that you could play through it and the top of the building also offers up a spot for a mounted gun or a sniper perhaps.
If you're looking to go back to the utterly destroyed state of the cityscape then you can also pick up a Gothic Ruined Chapel which might work well when placed around the Aedificium.
You could have an utterly devastated warzone in the mix with the Aedificium standing tall amongst the ruins, the last bastion of defence against an enemy who cares little for civilisation. After seeing the movie 1917 recently and the scenes set amongst the ruins of a bombed-out town, I think it would be awesome to dive into that through the lens of Warhammer 40,000.
Will you be checking out this terrain over the weekend?

Oh man…. I’ve misread the headline in the feed as “battlefleet gothic” and now it’s only terrain… bummer 😉
Brilliant looking new terrain.
I like that intact building 🙂
Pretty cool I like the intact corner building.
