Avatars Of War Release First Ready2Print Dragonseeker Statue File
November 20, 2018 by brennon
Avatars Of War has released the first of their Ready2Print pieces over on their webstore. This new Dwarf Dragonseeker Statue is available as an STL File which you can download and print yourself.
This has been designed for home printing so comes with all of the different files you need in order to make it a reality. Printing terrain and such like this seems like a good starting point as you can always cover a lot of the mistakes that might come out of the process with paint and weathering.
It will be rather fascinating to see what they do next as part of their new Ready2Print range. This is a rather hefty piece to get started with as well and the base could be very complicated but if it does come out alright you'll have a good objective/shrine to die under with your Dwarven heroes.
What do you think of the idea of more companies embracing home printing?

Very nice.
Love the figure a great guard for a stronghold’s gatehouse.
Can you reverse the plan’s to have a pair each side of gate’s or bridges to have the best look.
That is an interesting thought.
You would have to have the original 3D object. Place it back in the 3D program and then mirror it and remover the original object.
I wish that I could make up my mind on which 3D printer to buy. Every time I think I’m ready to buy one a new model comes out or someone points out a weakness of the model that I’m looking at buying and I get cold feet.
Never purchased any so can’t comment on any of that but I don’t think printed figures have the fine details quite yet but for statues an the like perfect, natural weathering.
