900+ Thematic Scenery & Bases STLs On Kickstarter!
July 22, 2022 by fcostin
Adding a little extra to your bases can really make the overarching scene of your table come to life. Whether your game is set in the cove of a gremlin-riddled swamp, or under the rocky shelter of a cavernous mountain path - your base can make a world of difference! And you do not have to start from scratch.
Realm of Dreams miniatures is up on Kickstarter with their Bases and Scenery for resin 3d printing, which contains a wealthy stack of 900 files, to decorate your base and table - for as little as £12!
Bases and Scenery // Realm of Dreams Miniatures
Where to begin on this mahoosive bank of resources?! Starting with the Core Set, there is a total of 8 thematic groups that have a series of 20 bases in each, with around 300 scenery elements. With highly detailed sculpts that incorporate the environment. These eight sets include Tavern, Dungeon, Beach, Cave, Cemetry, Dark Forest, Castle Ruins and Elf Palace.

There are new bases coming along daily too, plus locked stretch goals for every backer as part of the campaign including more assets to diversify more themes on your tabletop. This includes Sci-Fi, Urban, Volcanic and Desert.

With a tally together, including both the scenery and bases - you'll have yourself a set of 900 files to print by the end of the campaign according to the pledge. But if you want even more for your buck, you can gain access to their 'pirate girls' add-on and add 100 more files to your pledge. With no pledge going over £20. Unless you are looking for a license!
The campaign has a really quick turnaround, with STL files being supplied as early as September, and being sent a download file offering all the 3D scenery and bases you could possibly ask for! Each file has been prepared for 30mm, however, can be scaled up and down to your fancy!

There are fourteen days left on the campaign and it is already heavily funded with more bases and scenery being unlocked each day! If you are after a wide and diverse set to 3D print, adding some personal flair to your table, be sure to check out the campaign over on Kickstarter.
Thinking of stocking up on your bases, maybe turn to your 3D Printer!
