Craft A 6mm Medieval Village For Wargaming Over On Kickstarter

Philip Page of Slug Industries is on Kickstarter right now with an awesome little campaign focused on creating 6mm (1/300th) scale terrain for your Medieval tabletops. A whole Medieval Village is up for grabs!

The collection breaks down into thirteen different museum-quality buildings that could be used to adorn your 6mm tabletops. The design means that they should work for all sorts of different Fantasy and Historical wargames and skirmishing affairs.

Each of the terrain pieces looks to be made in resin and features a staggeringly awesome amount of detail. I was very drawn to the Manor and the tiled roof in particular. That looks like that would be bloomin' good fun to paint!
There is also the Windmill. This comes in resin with additional laser-cut pieces that can be used to craft the final look.

I think this all looks very neat indeed and I like how there are plenty of different options to choose from. You've got ruined and devastated buildings as well as structures that are in the middle of being built too. It allows you to tell quite the story with your wargaming terrain.
As a bonus, you can also get this Peasant Rabble that is no doubt going to be causing all sorts of mischief on the tabletop. These come from Microworld Games!

This gets me thinking about the start of a scenario. The village is in uproar after a recent bout of tax rises and the peasants have started revolting! The soldiers of the local baron are then called in to deal with the situation and a full-on riot starts in the village square!
Are you going to be checking out this 6mm Kickstarter for yourself?

I’ve seen these yesterday. They really look nice, especially for that scale.
Thanks.
Ooh that looks like a brilliant set of terrain buildings for gamers.
