4Ground March Through Their Triumphal Arch Soon
October 23, 2019 by brennon
4Ground has been showing off another piece of terrain coming to support their 28mm Urbes Mortis range. Here we have the magnificent Triumphal Arch which would be a great centrepiece for the tabletop.
This Arch is a pretty massive structure as you'll see in the images below when compared against some models from Warhammer 40,000's Adeptus Mechanics army. You can't quite see it here but if you look at the preview over on Facebook there's also a wall on the inside covered in names of fallen heroes.
This would be a great place for a last stand. You could imagine bodies strewn across the floor, bullets ripping into the masonry but your heroes standing tall and proud in defence of it. I love the idea of a proper clash between a mighty demon and a Space Marine demi-god on this.
If you're looking to defend the Arch from the air then you will also be able to pick up some new Missile Launcher Platforms from Lasercut Architect which will also be available next week.
These are a neat addition to the range and don't just have to sit on top of this arch. I like how it shows that whilst there is a sense of pomp and ceremony about this particular structure there's also a need to protect it and be practical too.
What do you think of this towering monument to your warrior's heroic victories?

That is just great. Stick a unit of Devastators on that and blow your opponent away!
Isn’t it weird that you can’t demolish buildings in 40k … especially with things like baneblades as part of your fource ?
Or did I miss that rule in 40k 8th edition ?
It looks great will be fabulous looking on a table layout.
