4Ground: Things From the Basement
March 5, 2019 by ludicryan
Ben from 4Ground joins Justin in the studio about what he's got locked in his basement...
Working with independent designers such as Things From The Basement, Ben shows off some of the amazing terrain being published by 4Ground including a Mayan temple complex and a range of Japanese buildings including a Dojo, archery range and temple. The Mayan temple range is impressive for its modularity and intricate details. Ben also teases us with the news that Pavlov's House is in development also!
What scenario or building would you love to see done by 4Ground?

Man Pavlov’s house will be so epic!!!
Surely a must have for BoW/ OTT HQ. I’m sure John and Justin wouldn’t mind filming another legendary Bolt Action Let’s Play ??
I am excited! Thanks a lot to 4Ground for helping me making my designs easily available worldwide.

I loved having a look at these and the Pavlov’s house looked amazing when I was talking to Ben about it being a great set up for a game and he casually threw it in that you’d sent him the files the previous week, I had to google it immediately.
Hope your partnership goes from strength to strength for you, I’m really excited to see what comes next.
Thanks a lot, Gerry! I am excited for Pavlov’s House too 🙂
Will you guys be at Salute?
We will in fact I’ll be there myself. I daresay I’ll see you when Ben kidnaps me.
Nice! My guess is that Ben will kidnap us both. Looking forward to meeting you!
Love the Mayan stuff. Not least since that Ghost Archipelago stuff landed
looks great, I thought mayan stuff could go well for frostgrave ghost Archipelago, i’ll have a look at it if its at Salute
4G terrain look fantastic an this new stuff is just as good.
Very beautiful pieces from 4Ground there, would be a blessing to any table to have them on it. Quick point to note for Justin, the sacrificial block was not used to chop off heads like most Europeans would assume. The Aztec method of sacrifice was to lay the “Victim” arched backwards over the groove so a dagger could be inserted into the presented chest cavity and then opened to allow for the removal of the heart. All whilst the “Victim” was alive to see the last few beats as their heart as it was held aloft for the gods to… Read more »
Nice looking designs and you know it will have 4grounds quality, so probably picking these up soon.
Liking the Mayan Temple, with the way you can fit things together there
s no end to what design you can dream up.
Not sure which scenario i would pick, as for building/dungeon it would have to be..........Reich Busters. Its nice playing on card designed room
s, but playing in a 3D setting would be epic.
Great range of buildings, i dont own any at this time, but that will change soon………fathers day and birthday coming up in the next few months.
