4Ground Show Off More Detail On Sci-Fi Structures
October 23, 2015 by brennon
4Ground showed off their Sci-Fi Building range in 28mm earlier in the week and now they're back to show us some more of the detail work on their buildings. You can see the buildings below showing off a range of the work going into making the building surfaces a bit more interesting...
You can see some of the transfer work going on here with the buildings above. Small posters and other labels here give you the ability to customise your terrain and make it look a little bit more lived in.
In addition this next picture shows the use of the Ladder Pack which will enable you to give you verticality to your tabletops games.
Have you warmed up to this new series of terrain pieces? I think the labels and the various poster accessories add a lot more to the range and build on a solid foundation with the type of terrain they are building here.
What do you think?

Those buildings look so much better now.
like.
Interesting look in many ways, but at the same time it’s far to close to the various Infinity terrain options elsewhere. Don’t really want that for my table.
I agree with you and thought is was made for Infinity at first sight.
My opinions are pretty much the same. It’s nice enough but looks a bit uninspired.
Agreed, same as before with a few stickers on them, even the stickers are un-inspiring.
And their 1930/40’s and fantasy range are brilliant.
The stickers do improve the look, perhaps it’s because they tie the buildings together a bit more; previously they looked a bit stark and th different bright colours were jarring.
The sets at present do seem a bit underwhelming, however, i’my hoping that these represent the equivalent of the fantasy range ‘hovels’ in which case they’d be the simplest and smallest buildings in the range with every following release improving until the point where they offer up some really exciting centre pieces i.e. the sci-fi equivalent of the Stoic Arms!
Do they supply these painted?
