4Ground & Dreamholme Work On New Resin Island Terrain
January 7, 2022 by brennon
4Ground are going to be working with another indie designer in the near future. Shaun Mutton's "Dreamholme" terrain collection is going to be arriving on their webstore soon and includes some new coloured resin terrain for use in your naval wargames.

This terrain will be pre-painted as you can see above and offer up some great options for those needing quick terrain for the likes of Oak & Iron or Victory At Sea. It's a small thing but it certainly adds a bit of colour to games.

The terrain looks good just as it is, offering up a neat way to quickly get some obstacles down onto the tabletop. You could do a little more with these, perhaps with washes and an extra bit of drybrushing, just to bring out the depth and detail a little more.
I like that it has squiggly bits around the fringes indicating craggy headland and the cut out "lake" in the first image. It works nicely if you're using a gaming mat like they are here.
There should be more from the Dreamholme collection popping up in the future so keep an eye out!
Are you tempted to snap these up?

These would have to be a bit more fancy (featuring buildings/forts and harbours) to justify buying them. This is probably the easiest DIY terrain project, or use excellent plastic molds from Amera. Will be interesting to see the price.
Tend to agree. 4 small islands for $70 USD plus shipping, wow
£51…that is ridiculous. I look forward to the OTT ‘how to make these for £5’ video.
Nice if pricey.
