Fight Over 28mm Scale Sci-Fi Prefab Terrain From TTCombat

June 12, 2023 by brennon

TTCombat has put together three packs of terrain for you to use when diving into your games of Infinity. The three 28mm scale packs have been designed to represent the kind of prefabricated settlements that might pop up on frontier worlds.

Prefab Housing Pods - TTCombat

Prefab Housing Pods // TTCombat

This terrain set would be great for representing a bit more of a built-up area on the tabletop. The set, made from 3mm MDF, is very modular allowing you to build this kit in a number of different ways. Depending on how you paint it, it could be used to represent somewhere high class or perhaps the depths of a slum on a distant planet.

You can also get a bit more industrial with the Prefab Alpha set.

Prefab Alpha - TTCombat

Prefab Alpha // TTCombat

This set is just as modular as the other buildings that you've seen here and so you could mix and match it with others if you like. This is a little bit more of an industrial set which comes with the generator on the top. It's elements like this that get you thinking about scenarios. Maybe one team has to get in and blow that generator up, allowing you to infiltrate a lab and get access to some classified material.

Talking of labs, maybe this building could be linked to the bigger Prefab Chems Labs from the folks at TTCombat?

Prehab Chem Labs - TTCombat

Prefab Chem Labs // TTCombat

This set comes with a lot of the modular elements that you've seen before but with additional bits and pieces like ventilation units, pipes and big blast windows. If you were looking to make a connected tabletop then you could maybe have the game run from the housing complex through to the Alpha building where they need to blow up the generator. From there, they can infiltrate the Chem Labs and start setting explosives!

I love terrain that gets you thinking about the kinds of games you could play on it and this certainly fits the bill. A great collection worth diving into for Infinity games and beyond. It shouldn't be that hard to paint either, especially if you've got a rattle can or airbrush and some washes!

Will you be having a look at this 28mm Sci-Fi collection?
