New 28mm Sarissa Japanese Kits Suitable For Test Of Honour
March 3, 2017 by stvitusdancern
Sarissa Precision have expanded their range of Japanese themed kits with the addition of 5 new products to expand the range. These will be available from today (3rd March 2017).
The beautiful Temple Bell which along with all the other pieces make for some nice objectives for the upcoming Test of Honour from Warlord Games. All the terrain is made of MDF and in 28mm scale.
Personally, I am very excited for Test of Honour and can not wait to see it at Adepticon and see for myself the miniatures and how the game will play.
I have debated on pre-ordering the set. I can only hope they will be bringing along some of these terrain pieces as well so we can judge how they will look on the table.
There are so many possibilities for this terrain and so many games out there you could also use it for.
It could even be used in a WWII game with the possible occupation of the Japanese Islands at the end of the war and resistance that occurred in the southern islands until the surrender.
What could you use these in?

They all look rather nice.
Fantastic! I’m building a Sohei Warrior-Monk warband for Test of Honour, so these new terrain pieces will really fit the theme!
You see Jap, I see Rural Tau village 😀
Anyone know if these are pre-painted, cause they are really rather lovely
I’d LOVE them if they were pre-painted, but I went to their site and it looks like they come unpainted. I figured, but it didn’t hurt to check.
great looking scenery for the table.
all this Japanese terrain of late has been awesome, you can pretty much just build japan in miniature these days.
As everyone has already said… these are lovely. We are being spoiled with high quality terain kits these days . Well played Sarissa
I love the Shrine.
I can imagine it on a countryside road. Two factions meet and its a matter of honor as to who prays first and who waits or goes away.
