00 Gauge Railway Kits Return To 4Ground Webstore
September 4, 2019 by brennon
For those of you looking for just the right scale of terrain to use either in Railway modelling or something more wargaming related, the 00 Gauge Collection from 4Ground is now available once more on their new webstore.
This is just a small selection of the offerings from 4Ground which are, as you might have guessed, all pre-coloured and ready to go once you've assembled them. As well as lots of terrain elements which are perfect for going trackside there's also a lot to help build up the towns, villages and such that your railway might go through.
One of my personal favourites is the Church kit which you can see here, also available in individual elements if you so wish.
I also like some of the goodies that you can get to help create the towns and such that spring up around these railway stations you're working on. I know railway modellers in particular put a lot of time and effort into their builds and so building like these might work nicely when crafting the manmade structures in your display whilst you concentrate on the natural world.
Growing up in the Midlands (although I still think of myself as from Worcestershire) I have always been near the Seven Valley Railway and my Dad was an avid trainspotter when he was young. So, seeing pieces like this always catch my eye, especially when I think of the wonderful displays I've seen at stations like Bewdley and the like.
There's something fascinating about a good train set, seeing the work that has gone into making a little bumbling world of steam.
Will you be snapping up some of these railway buildings?

These are 1:72 so perfect for WW2 gaming and all the juicy 20mm models available… Operation Sea Lion, anyone?
I’m also from Worcestershire, and once went on the Severn Valley Railway in a Christmas Eve in the snow. Was very atmospheric, and we went past the Safari Park, and saw elephants in the snow!
Ben, come and visit the Redditch Wargaming Society, you are always welcome.
I shall bear that in mind 🙂
Funnily enough @brennon some of my 1st 20mm WW2 Wargames were fought over my HO train lay out when I was about 14, still remember the 4 wheeled Skdz 234 Armoured car with the pak 75mm guarding a bridge.
Very cool 🙂
great looking buildings.
