Reinforce Armoured Clash Armies In October With More Sets!
September 25, 2024 by brennon
Armoured Clash launches soon and October will feature more releases for those looking to bolster and reinforce the armies of the Empire and the Crown in this 10mm wargame by Warcradle Studios. See what's coming out to support your larger armies...
Sovereign Battlegroup Set // Armoured Clash
Shop Armoured Clash @ Wayland Games
To start with, we have two Battlegroup Sets for the Crown and the Empire that will give you a whole bunch of plastic miniatures to bolster your armies plus the big resin landships that each can use to make something of a statement on the tabletop.
Sovereign Battlegroup Set Miniatures // Armoured Clash
The Sovereign Battlegroup Set for the Crown comes with one of the awesome Sovereign Land Ship (may also be built as Monarch Land Ship) as well as Galahad Medium Tanks (may also be built as Galahad Breachers or Tristan Assault Transports), four Blackwatch Heavy Dragoons (may also be built as Blackwatch Assault Dragoons), five of the Horse Guard Cavalry and two Mordred Heavy Artillery (may also be built as Bors Heavy Bombards). As you can tell, these give you plenty of options to build different units that you might have gone with when the first sets dropped.

If you're more of a fan of the Empire then you've got the Laoshan Battlegroup Set which comes with the Laoshan Landship (may also be built as Wutai Landship), four Green Banner Jezzail Teams, two Fangun Medium Tanks (may also be built as Yan Shou Flame Tanks), four Tongshi Lion Automata (may also be built as Ruishi Lion Automata), five Jindouyun Steambikes and two of the Fengbao Heavy Launchers (may also be built as San Lei Heavy Artillery). This again means that you've got plenty of ways to customise your Empire forces and take them in different directions as an army.
Armoured Regiments are also available for both factions so you've got plenty of ways for you to dive in and secure objectives with extreme prejudice.

- 4x Blackwatch Heavy Dragoons (may also be built as Blackwatch Assault Dragoons)
- 5x Horse Guard Cavalry
- 2x Mordred Heavy Artillery (may also be built as Bors Heavy Bombards)
Similarly, if you're more of an Empire fan you can also get an Armoured Regiment for them as well.

This set comes with the lovely miniatures for the...
- 2x Fangun Medium Tanks (may also be built as Yan Shou Flame Tanks)

- 4x Green Banner Jezzail Team
- 5x Jindouyun Steambikes

Capping things off, both factions are also getting (yes, there are more options!) Infantry Regiments so if you need to add more foot troops into your army then you'll have those as well!
Crown Infantry Regiment // Armoured Clash
Crown Infantry Regiment Miniatures // Armoured Clash
The Crown set comes with a whole bunch of ace plastic miniatures for you to build as well as their transports so they don't get shot up on the way to their objective.
- 6x Rifle Platoon Infantry
- 4x Drake Field Guns
- 2x Stirling Troop Carriers (may also be built as Glamis Mobile Guns)
- 4x Royal Engineer Sappers
- 4x Sharp Rifles
- 4x Spitfire Rocketeers
Make way for the Empire though as they also have some great Infantry Regiment goodness for you to sink your teeth into.

This set comes with...
- 8x Green Banner Platoon
- 4x Tanshe Light Launchers (may also be built as Biao Flak Launchers)
- 4x Green Banner Flame Team
- 4x Green Banner Rocket Platoon
- 4x Jianhuren Terracotta Automata
- 4x Bulnabang Winged Infantry
Whilst I am a massive fan of the Crown and their Victoriana aesthetic, I do think that the Empire has some great miniatures. The Green Banner Platoons are lovely and look like they would paint up exceptionally well. Who doesn't want Jianhuren Terracotta Automata as well?!
All of these miniatures will be available to pre-order soon in October so keep an eye out!

that’s a lot of plastic/resin
Really like the way they are marketing/releasing these sets. Allow for players to effectively expand forces without (too much) chaff purchases.
And the models look good – wasn’t to keen on the Empire Landship, then I saw the optional “Artillery” build….sold
I like the Crown people, the infantry and the guns. The round wheels of death, not so keen on. The tanks, they look ok, too. I could see myself getting some of these.
Nice looking boxes for easy expansion. Really looking forward to getting to paint some of these models.
Looking good. I’m liking the way the box sets work.
