Star Wars Imperial Assault Painting Guide: How To Paint Gaarkhan & Chewbacca
July 27, 2015 by brennon
We're back with more from Sorastro's Painting where he now shows us how to paint up the Wookies known as Gaarkhan and Chewbacca from Star Wars Imperial Assault by Fantasy Flight Games. If you like these furry chaps then you'll want to pay close attention to this tutorial...
He does a great job on the fur, making it stand out, rather than looking like a big ol' mess of brown. There are some neat techniques here worth remembering.

My son loves watching his vids and trying to paint the imperial assault figs with him he is learning lots from watching.
That’s awesome, they are good tutorials aren’t they 😀 – you’ll have to show us some of the work that he’s been doing!

It great to get pointers from accomplished people. If anyone is as basic a painter as I am, then it’s this kind of instruction/direction I need to stop my mini’s ending up looking like Zig and Zag or Mr Bloby.
Cool, stored this one for reuse later when I need to paint a Devil Dog team
