Thank you for doing this review. It was great to hear about this RPG and I am defenetly putting this one behind my ear as option to start.
When you guys wrap up all those outstanding competitions from the last few months, you should totally give away a few copies of this.

How’s the healing, by the way? The old D20 version had the “Pain of Healing” rule which meant that it was mostly better to rely on alchemical salves and only break out the cleric when it was really important (or you ran out of Corbens Elixir!)
I really don’t like template character construction. It pigeonholes you into making stats and your character an exact way. You still get a couple extra points to play with for customization. But instead of making your character unique, you end up with a selection of cookie cutter characters to choose from. I prefer point-buy or skill based systems. That being said i am still excited about this game. I would definitely play as there are a lot of cool options and i really like the IK setting. Awesome, I am so looking forward to running this setting. I really like the simplified character creation.
I liked how the spirit of Darryl appears about 4mins in, realises they’re talking about Privateer Press stuff (and an RPG to boot!) and promptly vanishes back into the warp. 🙂
