Secrets Of The Third Reich Visits Mr Smythe & The Templars
January 4, 2016 by brennon
Westwind Productions have given us a full run down of the models that you'll get to go along with the Ruined Britannia supplement for Secrets of The Third Reich. Meet Mr Smythe, some Templars and the Home Guard.
Now, we've seen Mr Smythe before splattered in blood and yet still looking like quite the gentleman. However, things aren't so calm and serene in our green and pleasant land and something stirs in the shadows.
"On the British home front, we give you a first glimpse of the struggle going on in the ruins of London for the soul of the United Kingdom between the dark and Machiavellian agents of the Temple and the grim warriors of the MI-13. While both fight for the survival of the England, they have very different visions of her future."
"Ruined Britannia brings a vision of a war ravage Kingdom, which is far from united in its approaches to the war. Containing orders of Battle are suited to the desperate battle that rages through both the green and pleasant lands, and the dark satanic mills that constitute the war for Britain’s Soul in addition to scenarios and a mini-campaign covering the creeping advances of the Decima."
You can download the Ruined Britannia PDF HERE for free allowing you to take them into this strange scenario where crazy things are going on in the heartland of England. I could see this being a very interesting alternate civil war for the Weird World War future we find ourselves in.
What do you think of the set?

West Wind are without doubt one of those mostly un-sung tour de force companies that to put it very simply produce excellent games, figures and rules all under one roof. This is not just an add on with a slight amount of fluff to tie it to a much larger game, this is a new playing area for a successful game with new minis and new campaigns to be fought over. If ever you see them at a show firstly go and talk with them as a husband and wife run business they are open and very very helpful and… Read more »
Very nice.
Just found this thanks to the weekender review – I love that guy with the umbrella. I don’t really know anything about this game or the setting, although I’ve heard it mentioned quite often over the last couple of years. Never really paid any attention but it’s funny how just one model can capture your imagination and trigger an interest. I’ll download the PDF and try to find out more…
