Wargames Atlantic Preview Lizardmen & World War I French

December 3, 2020 by brennon

Wargames Atlantic are sculpting all sorts of interesting things at the moment from Historical miniatures through to troops which would be a better fit for Pulp adventures and Sci-Fi clashes. We start with their Lizardmen who are still in the works but got previewed in painted form recently.

Lizardman Example #1 - Wargames Atlantic

On the one hand, you had this fellow here who is armed with a musket and looks like he might have come from a 70s Pulp adventure movie. He could also work very nicely in a Fantasy setting too if you wanted to give your Lizardmen a bit of an edge!

Heading into the realms of Sci-Fi we also have this Lizardman wearing a gas mask and rocking an automatic rifle. Something for the Post-Apocalypse maybe?

Once again, Wargames Atlantic have shown that they can be superbly inventive when it comes to what they bring to the tabletop. With such a wealth of games out there that cover various genres, it's nice to see a company working to try and offer up interesting and different miniatures to plug gaps in ranges and provide you with something unique to try.

World War I French

As well as the Lizardman we also got a look at more of the options which will be present on the World War I French Infantry sprues.

Not all the parts will make the cut but there is a good array of options already presented here for those who want to fight as the beleaguered French during The Great War. You've got those classic jackets and hats which are so synonymous with the French during this period and plenty of weapons with which to fight back the Germans.

I love that we've also got a few extra accessories in the works too like that sabre and machete alongside packs, pistols, rifles and more. It means you can have a lot of fun with this plastic kit when it comes to building up your regiment.

What do you make of these new previews from Wargames Atlantic?
