The Lazy Forger Crafts Warehouses & Full Spectrum Dominance
November 15, 2022 by brennon
The Lazy Forger has been working away on some fun new projects of late. The first of these that we're going to be having a look at is the new set of Storage Warehouses in 6mm scale which can be fought over by your small-scale (but huge!) armies.
Storage Warehouses // The Lazy Forger
The four different Warehouses in the set (Quonset Huts) look like they have seen better days. They can either just be used in their shell form to show warehouses that have been ransacked by passing armies...

...or you could end up filling them with shelves and oil barrels so they become a prime target for raiders and the like. The detail on these kits is phenomenal and I love seeing all of the little details that The Lazy Forger are able to get out of these 6mm kits.

The floors within the warehouses can either be glued in position or easily popped up depending on what you want to do. You could even use the floors as a mix of different tiles to make interior locations inside a massive complex.

As well as the warehouses, this is also a good chance to dive in and find out more about that wargame I mentioned. Full Spectrum Dominance is the wargame that The Lazy Forger has been working on for a while and should be seeing a proper full release in December.
Full Spectrum Dominance // The Lazy Forger
As the title suggests, Full Spectrum Dominance is a game of combined arms played out with small-scale miniatures. The game works armies from 3mm through to 15mm (and beyond if you like) and focuses in on the movement and battles of mechs and vehicles and infantry that are combined into squads on the tabletop.
Full Spectrum Dominance Gameplay // The Lazy Forger
The game features activation rolls for units and alternative activation when it comes to the swings and roundabouts of gameplay from turn to turn. Games as a whole are focused on scenario-based affairs where you'll be looking to complete objectives on the tabletop as well as just blasting your foes to smithereens. All of this played out on a tiny scale as you can see above.
Some neat miniatures are already available for you to snap up when crafting armies for Full Spectrum Dominance. For example, you could have some fun with The Enlisted...

...or you might want to go down the route of playing as The Tech instead?

Each of the factions has been balanced against each other to make sure that your games are going to be fair, regardless of who you play as. The game certainly has our attention and if you'd be interested in finding out more about Full Spectrum Dominance, there are some links to check out below.

Ooh brilliant looking figures for gaming with seen the terrain on farcebook looking great.
Those are really nice, for some reason I immediately thought of abandoned US bases/airfields for early on in the Pacific campaign of WW2 (rather than sci-fi). Alas I’m one of those luddites with no 3D printer, and I see no links for any 3rd party sellers who sell the physical model. ….mind you I haven’t got any 6mm Pacific armies, so why am I thinking of getting hold of them somehow? Perhaps they could be scaled up for 15mm (but I haven’t got any 15mm Pacific theatre armies either (just eastern front). I hate it when you see a really… Read more »
I’ve read the rules and I think they’re pretty good. The command mechanic is what I like the most though. I have high hopes for this game.
