Miniature Scenery Show Off New Weird & Wonderful Vehicles
October 18, 2017 by brennon
In the realm of strange vehicles, these have got to be some of the strangest. See what you make of this pair of new releases from Miniature Scenery starting with the Ursula Heavy Mortar.
This is certainly a nice alternative way for you to bring into play a Defiler for your Chaos forces in the likes of Warhammer 40,000. You could see this creation obviously pulling itself out of the ocean, but also crawling across the land, whipping aside those who get too close with its tentacles.
I particularly like the sponson guns attached to the side and the nice segmented nature of the tentacles themselves as they aid in the eerie appearance.
Scuttling Transports
We also have this Scuttle Bug Transport which, as you might imagine, may also be of great interest to Papa Nurgle.
Instead of tracks or wheels, this thing pulls itself forward on those little legs. They might be a little easier to break and shut down I'd imagine but it does mean this thing could climb over some of the worst rubble out there in a warzone.
What do you make of their strange creations?

Can these really be MDF kits? Wow!
The Ursula Heavy Mortar is stunning – I can see that as a great objective piece for games like Wolsung, Twisted or as scenery for SMOG
This company has great vehicules and other increidible things made from MDS, a shame the shipping cost to Europe are astronomical…
fabulous work love the siege gun.
These are very creative. I would pick them up just for building them.
How big are they? They look awesome!
They are 28-32mm scale, so will fit in nicely with most other ranges on the market
I wouldn’t have thought of using the octopus as a Defiler. But now that you’ve mentioned I like the idea a lot. I definitely prefer it to the current Defiler model.
And it also has the right number of legs. 😀 😀 😀
Their Y2K Peregrine model is 1000+ piece with fully useable interior for gaming. However, my wife would kick me out of the house given its cost.
That is a great concept! You don’t see something that original come along very often.
It has tentacles, so of course I love it.
I can’t help but think of all those Poor Unfortunate Souls………
I NEED that tentacle wood porn for my Dark Mechanicum.
Those are some very interesting and creative looking vehicles.
Wow that is a good looking kit.
I’ve been singing the praise for the stuff coming out of miniature scenery for a couple of years now. Their stuff is great fun to build and quite durable. What they are doing is getting better with every release they do
