Raging Heroes Take Us To Church For Their Cathedral Prototype
October 8, 2018 by dracs
Raging Heroes are working on finishing the products for their WarStages Kickstarter, and have revealed new images of the prototype for their Small and Large Cathedral.
This Cathedral is huge! A piece of over-the-top gothic architecture that would fit right at home as a place of worship in the grim darkness of the far future.
This thing looks as though it would dominate any tabletop, an imposing defensive structure that would shelter the faithful within its walls.
And that's the SMALL version! Here's the Large prototype.
You're gunna need a bigger table.
This thing is so big I could happily live in it!
Currently, these are just prototypes, hence the white card finish, but it's a promising sign of what is to come from Raging Heroes.
The Kickstarter is set to start delivering around March time, though it is still open to late pledges. You can find out more about how Raging Heroes are moving forwards with this here.
What scenarios would you use this for?

Terra!!!!
that’s impressive
Wow love it.
Wow – no drinking around that 😉
Reminds me of that big chaos Cathedral you fight within in Dawn of War I think (the first one). Just needs some Chaos and some Blood Raven Space Marines to go with it 🙂
Cant wait to get mine, was a good kickstarter
I foresee lots of lovely paint jobs accentuated during play by the dripping blood of gamers who brush to close to some of the spikes…
temple for the blood god confirmed 😀
What material are they made from? will it be all-too-easy to rip or tear crenallated erections when going in for a reach around?
looks like laser cut mdf with some kind of coating. maybe even a thin plastic or paper layer for sturdiness
From the KS page 1.8mm cardboard printed on both sides. Yup could be a worry, however Battlesystems found that by brushing the edges with superglue (the bottle with the brush applicator), you end up with a hard plastic like finish that stops edges from fraying/bending. But you would still have to be careful with it
That is one huge terrain piece and it’s already looking stunning.
It is almost as if they know some plastic nuns are coming back to the 40k universe
