Preview Poster For Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game Appears
April 9, 2015 by brennon
Over on the Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game Facebook Page the community has been discussing a new preview poster that popped up for the River Horse game...
As you can see it gives a run down of exactly what's in the set and to make sure you don't have to try and read the small print it comes with...
- Quickstart Rules (16 Pages)
- 31 Hard Plastic Miniatures - 10 Terminators, 5 Crawlers, 16 Resistance Soldiers (all of which are three piece dry fit sets - apart from the Crawlers which are one piece)
- Measuring Templates, Scenery, Tokens, and other Gaming Aids
- 2x3 Full Colour Gaming Mat
- Rules Reference Sheet
- 13 Colour Coded Dice
The poster also talks about the availability to pre-order now and this is apparently something that has popped up in American stores now with it appearing in UK ones very soon.
Want More Terminator?
This isn't the only version of the Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game coming out however...
There will also be a different version of the game which comes with a full rulebook and special edition miniature. I imagine Warlord will be stocking both versions of the game when it comes to the pre-orders as this one comes with a special metal Kyle Reese figure to lead your Resistance Fighters.
Will you be pre-ordering?

Still can’t figure out why there are 10 Termies to only 16 resistance, are the Termi’s that bad in the game?
Terminators follow the Ninja law wherein their effectiveness is inverse to the how many there are.
I.e. if there was only one Terminator, he’d be almost unstoppable.
Well if it’s set in the future and the Human Resistance have laserguns? They were trading almost equal blow-for-blow in the T2: Judgement Day opening…
I’ve been following this game for a little bit now since I became aware of it and will definitely be pre-ordering the deluxe edition to show support for the traditional release route Riverhorse have decided on. They’ll need good numbers early on in order to expand the range and we all want to see some bigger miniatures for the termies.
Hope the minis are available separately at some time. I am not that interested in the rules just the minis.
So far the game looks cheap as hell, like something from the 80-s. Almost monochromatic board, flimsy cards (judging by the Facebook photos) and don’t let me start on the miniatures. Definitely does not look like something worth £50. Hope these are only the prototypes, otherwise Alessio and Co. will learn the hard way that any rules set, no matter how awesome, doesn’t sell without the “sugar coating”.
im more interested in the rules as the models look like they were sculpted in the 80s
Not sure how they can only have the Kyle Reese miniature as exclusive to the ‘Delux’ set. This means that to get this important character you have to purchase the Delux package.
50 quid is a lot. I would be hard pressed to buy it at £40!
Yer the models look pretty shocking. Not that interested in this product. Some of the non humanoid robots could be cool but not at that quality. The human resistance looks much more interesting and more well made on the model front. Well I hope it all turns out good in the end.
I like the Terminator sprue and don’t think it looks as bad as others think – but I would definitely be giving them a more rusty and battered look and making the red eyes glow.
the termies dont look that good, they look like EM4 plastics, lets hope they have the same price range
On the fence at the moment…
wait and see,… but interesting.
Still one of my favorite movie franchises (1,2,4), I am sure I will be pre-ordering.
I think the game looks good. The Terminators are a little hard to make look modern as they were literally designed in the 80’s to an 80’s aesthetic. From the Facebook page the Humans look like very modern sculpts, and some of the resin Terminators look excellent too.
