New Characters Arriving Soon For The Drowned Earth!

The Drowned Earth is getting a new selection of 35mm characters for those who want to dive into this unique skirmish game. As always, the work by Olmec Games is top-notch, and you've got some fascinating characters to play with here!

Playdge // The Drowned Earth

We start with the rather funky looking Playdge who works within your gang as a dedicated and inexpensive support piece. He is able to help his fellow Artefacters as they rush around the tabletop looking to grab objectives.

If you prefer getting things done with a gun then you've also got Mara!

Mara // The Drowned Earth

Mara is an expert at guerilla tactics and getting into the best position to ambush her foes. She is able to control the board from afar and shut down the movement of the enemy with her covering fire. This also flows nicely with the options and buffs she provides to other Militia members.

You could also take command with the firm taskmaster that is Kassel.

Kassel // The Drowned Earth

He can injure his own crew to make sure they get stuck into whatever he needs them to do. Ouch! He is also devastating on the charge and has the ability to zip in and out of combat when he needs, making him a truly terrible melee combatant to face on the tabletop.

You can focus in on martial prowess on the tabletop with the introduction of Akara for the Bondsmen.

Akara is able to deal with many of her foes in close combat but she can also bring out the damage potential in her allies too. You can make this all the more impressive by mounting her atop this dinosaur!

Again, this provides us with a look into the inventive and diverse world of The Drowned Earth that Olmec Games has been working on for a while now. They make some excellent miniatures for a game which is packed with opportunities to step beyond your classic Sci-Fi setting.
