ZEN Terrain’s MTV Badger Rolls Onto The Battlefield
August 16, 2016 by brennon
ZEN Terrain have finished their impressive MTV, Badger, and it's ready for battle. With three different turret options it can fulfil a few different battlefield roles.
The first of the options is the Rocket Launcher turret which would be good for blasting away buildings and dealing with the pesky infantry threatening your own troops.
If the enemy has armour then you can always use the Cannon turret instead...
...and last but not least we have more of a Command option for the Badger which would make it a moving objective in your games. Imagine if you had to protect one of these and get it from one end of the table to the other.
Also yes, this is made out of HDF and it's looking great. You'll need PVA glue to put this together as well just as a heads up!
This is a neat vehicle kit that would work for any number of games. It could appear in Warpath, Near Future wargames, MERCS, and even Infinity alongside the likes of the USAriadna.
Would you pick this up?

Man, Zen Terrain’s stuff looks amazing. The Badger looks functional and the detail in great.
That looks really good. I could see myself using this in Infinity,
a nice futuristic looking armoured vehicle.
They were smart to assemble and paint it for the pics. It wouldn’t look nearly so good in raw HDF.
does anything….
but it can look this good , so whats the point in not doing so , we are not blind to the fact its HDF , and needs painting. Every model needs painting….
I was thinking: Nice, but what do I do with it? Then you mentioned MERCS. Damm you Ben.
I’m sure the painting and weathering helps, but still, this is very impressive for an MDF kit.
Great looking vehicle . Wonder if they would package and sell just the turrets ? Got a few ideas of vehicles to add these to .
look at the puppet wars turrents
The HDF products for gaming these days are just amazing. I don’t care if this is the painted version, you are SUPPOSED to paint your minis! lol
Definitely a kit that wouldn’t look out of place in a range of game settings. 🙂
