A New Mercenary & Hear Tales Of The Edge On Kickstarter
March 14, 2015 by brennon
The Edge on Kickstarter from Awaken Realms has pushed through its stretch goals and now has another awesome set of miniatures and more for you to check out...
The first of the cool miniatures to check out is the Rha’zack Mercenary. These warriors came through the portals and rifts to fight, but for no particular side. Demons and Angels have no idea what plane of existence they came from but they know they are good warriors and will fight if paid well. A pretty epic looking model with some funky footware.
Next up we have some more models for you painters out there. If you like busts then you can use these to test your skills at painting skin but they are also perfect for using as massive pieces of terrain on the battlefield. I'd love to see what people could do with a variety of different weathering techniques and such.
Another miniature is in the concept stage and that's this Mechanical Golem that fights for the Chapter. It acts as a cool little addition to the forces of Good and should balance the factions more evenly. I can't wait to see the miniature for this.
Last but not least is the Battle for Eld-Hain book that comes packed with stories surrounding one of the climatic battles that led to the world being how it is now in The Edge. If you've been grabbed by the background of this game then this might be a worthy pick up.
You can find out more about the background in our interview HERE.

Although I’m liking the sculpts, I’m not sure about the/another game system. Been looking for something for Necromunda so may pick up some add-ons.
Those are rather nice.
If you’re going to walk around on lawn darts, you better hope you’re always on asphalt or some other hard surface. A shame, because I like the figure otherwise.
Maybe I’m just getting old, but do we really need another “steampunk skirmish game with a grain of Kingdom Death”?
And the scale is up again. A couple of years from now people will be playing with McFarlane’s action figures and call it a “miniatures hobby”.
