Check Out The Firm Faction For The Drowned Earth
March 29, 2017 by brennon
The Drowned Earth is coming to Kickstarter very soon and they took this opportunity to share one of the Faction Sets from the game, The Firm. See what you think of this quirky bunch of characters...
The Firm is certainly made up of a mad selection of different characters which makes them rather original when it comes to tabletop characters. You're going to have a lot of fun painting this lot up I reckon.
If you're interested in learning more about the game you can check out an interview with the designer on The Weekender HERE.
What do you make of The Firm?

Those look very nice.
Nice to see the mixed breed concept that they talked about on the weekender, being applied across all factions. It is interesting as even though you the all factions have gorilla men, you still get an idea about what makes the factions different from their poses, equipment and facial expressions. A great job
Agree 100% It has an RPG party feel to the factions. Each individual but part of a recognised collective
Indeed- that’s exactly what I was going for. Didn’t want to make yet another “this race vs this race” faction game, and particularly wanted to avoid the idea of “good races” vs “bad races”.
I cannot get enough of this game, going to be all over this kickstarter
super imaginative and characterful and the miniatures every bit as much.
looking forward to seeing the rules.
the unusual suspect’s?
The setting of this has a great pulp vibe to it a la The Lost World, The Land That Time Forgot.
Also, I love the nod to Tatsuya Nakadai in Yojimbo on that gunfighter.
Very well spotted :D. I didn’t think many people would get that.
Thanks! Very excited for this and looking forward to it. Cheers! 🙂
The weekender interview on this was really interesting.
I’m genuinely interested in this kickstarter. I love the setting that has been created, and the minis look like cool paintprojects.
Looking really good!!! The rules look really dynamic… I’ve got a friend visiting for the weekend and I’m going to print out the ‘standees’ and try out a demo! Looking forward to KS!
great rules set and the world is an awesome mix of Kammandi, Jurassic Park and Destiny.
looking forward to this game!
I prefer the artifactors but these are nice minis, need to spend some time with the rules
I’m liking what I’m seeing.
Really like this concept and sculpts.
