Artel W Miniatures has been previewing off a few more options for those diving into your Sci-Fi grimdark universes. If you're looking for a few alternatives for your Xenos army then keep an eye out for these Spectral Spinners which should be coming to their webstore soon.

Spectral Spinners #1 - Artel W Miniatures

Spectral Spinners // Artel W Miniatures

Each of the Spectral Spinners here has been based on the look of the Warp Spiders from Warhammer 40,000 and the Eldar race. They are certainly one of the many different miniatures from Games Workshop that need a bit of an update so it's cool to see Artel W Miniatures stepping into the breach and providing some alternatives for people to use in their armies.

Spectral Spinners #2 - Artel W Miniatures

These miniatures are posed in a variety of ways to show them stalking across the battlefield, just about to jump on their foes. They come armed with their hefty guns which do a fine job of turning their enemies into little tiny chunks of meat.

Spectral Spinners #3 - Artel W Miniatures

Spectral Spinners // Artel W Miniatures

They have a seriously deadly look to them and with a suitably fearsome paint scheme, they would make for a fearsome unit. I think you could do something with blood-red for the armour followed by a solid black for the under armour. It would give the impression of deadly spiders like the black widow.

These Spectral Spinners can then be lead by this Prime who has been sculpted in quite the dynamic way!

Spectral Spinner Prime - Artel W Miniatures

Spectral Spinner Prime // Artel W Miniatures

This fellow here is shown leaping from his web-way portal and absolutely eviscerating this poor soldier. I wonder whether it was the portal itself or the weapons of the Spectral Spinner that ended this fellows life? Either way, it's freckin awesome.

I'm not sure that this fellow would make for a good miniature to use on the tabletop with all those gribbly bits but it sure makes for a fun diorama/vignette to include as part of your collection.

Deadly Imperial Hunters

Keeping with the theme of hunters, we also have a human to add into the mix alongside these Xenos killers.

Manhunters Cult Texentis - Artel W Miniatures

Manhunters Cult, Texentis // Artel W Miniatures

This fellow could be added into the mix alongside your Inquisitorial retinue as one of their hired killers. Imagine this chap clad in black with just the merest glint of metal showing from those claws. Some bright red or green eyes in the helmet would then complete the look.

I like the idea of dropping him into a Necromunda campaign, working for no-one and hunting down the leaders of each of your gangs. He would look very cool stalking through the twisted metal of the Underhive.

What do you think of these new previews?
