PWork Wargames has added a brand new gaming mat to their collection. This time, the theme is grasslands and The Valley which would be great for all manner of different genres and games.

The Valley game mat is the perfect solution for any kind of setting that requires a generical grassy landscape terrain!
Play a barbarian sack of a quiet medieval village, a great clash of vast fantasy armies and ruthless fights between space soldiers on a distant green planet, all these battles on a unique, versatile and awesome wargaming mat!

Despite being a green grass mat there is a wealth of detail and textures on the mat itself. From scrub brush through to exposed rocky patches of the ground all tied together with a lush summer green grass.

This would make a great setting for historical games throughout Europe and parts of North America, but beyond that, it will work perfectly for fantasy-based gaming and with the right scatter and buildings plenty of other genres besides. You could use this for a clash between ancient empires or exploratory fleets of humans trying to understand new worlds.
The gaming mat is available in PVC/Vinyl, Neoprene/Rubber and Cloth depending on what kind of material you prefer. It also comes in a variety of sizes for skirmish games and larger mass battle games too.
With some very natural-looking elements built into the mat design to match with buildings, it should be great for those who prefer to dive into something a bit more narrative on the tabletop.
What do you think? Could this be the new battlefield gaming mat for you?

A good looking mat some nice grassy area’s to Sun bathe on.?
Is this new? I bought this mat from Pwork back in July 2021 for Saga. Have they maybe reformulated the colours – the design looks it be the same.
