Wilhelm ‘Wallace’ Fights for Freedom in Eden
September 13, 2012 by brennon
Taban Miniatures featured a miniature on their Facebook yesterday for Eden. Check out the warrior fighting for freedom, Wilhelm below...
Wielding a scrap claymore and with that warhorn in the other hand he certainly looks like he is standing at the head of a warband and sounding the charge into battle. I like that they have kept the historical look mixed in with the identifiable post-apocalyptic additions.
There's nothing to say you couldn't do a little bit of converting and use him in a historical of fantasy setting.
Something you will be picking up from Taban Miniatures?

That horn looks more like a flaming bag of poop…to be left on Longshanks’ front porch no doubt.
I would never have guessed was holding his horn.
Thought it was a post-apocalyptic haggis.
“Och Morag! Ye laft tha haggis an neeps in that oven tay lang agin! It’s stck tay the plate wi tha bairnt gravie. Hoots ma boab!
Think that should be “jinks, help ma boab” ?
It has been a long time since I read The Broons and Oor Wullie.
really nice model only criticisms would be the length of the kilt should be below the knee, never would have guessed it was a warhorn either.
The kilt needs to be to the knee as well as have pleats at the back. It’s minor being its a post apoc model so this can be said this is what kilts will look like in the future.
I thought the kilt looked like there was something missing.
It is incompleat.
Excuse me while I stick my head in the loo and pull the chain in disgust and self loathing at how awful a pun that is.
You should be kilt for a pun like that 🙂
