so Warren like monkeypigs and doesnt play warmahordes? should he start the farrow for Hordes?
Not sure I want to be a descendant of a chimp-pig
So does my love of pork make me a cannibal?
Making Sundays special
Chimp-pigs! Brilliant! I have never heard that theory before today, so I think I will have to investigate.
Looking at the size of the wargamer breakfast I’ve eaten while watching this, I’m keeping an open mind on the man-pig-baby. Mmmm tasty ancestors.
and this is why you shouldn’t believe everything on wiki
Rolf monkey pig 😀 any chance of some pics of the journey man league ??
Once again another great XLBS 🙂
whats the latest when people can join the Journeyman league? i want to start play warmachine but don’t know anywhere the go play where i live
where do you live dude? there are bound to be people in your area, maybe a club in a community centre or church hall or something, or heck be sneaky, go to your local GW and ask them where local clubs are, the chance of a club only playing 1 system/company is slim
Hilariously surreal and educational! Move over Richard Attenborough! That was probably the funniest xlbs I’ve seen!
What????
I am a very resposible Person to act as a shaperone when I’m not drunk (I couldn’t as I was driving)
But to be fair I’d say go and See it at the Edingbrought Fringe if you get a chance
For anyone who wants to explain warrens revelation about the chimp-pig theory to a spouse, please don’t start with the phrase “you’re a pig…”
That’s all I’m saying!
More psuedoscience please warren
Stilt guy looked like a land strider from the dark crystal
Incidentally what about only us and guinea pigs having to eat vitamin c to obtain it. Does that mean that pigpanzee got busy with a guinea pig too. Because without insulation tape they’d probably split
There has been a question as to how a pig and chimp could ‘get it on’? Simple, alcohol! Plenty of ripe fruit lying around on the forest which can contain a lot of brewed alcohol; both parties eat the same food and hey presto, it’s a Friday night down at your local nightclub!
This makes me rethink Gammaworld, may be they knew something us ere mortals didn’t?
Good fun…..party pooper I know but we aren’t descended from chimps or pigs. We had a common ancestor way back but are on seperate evolutionary branches…..Chigs may have to be confined to the wargaming table for now…. Also, Next Generation sequencing data is quite affordable now and lots of experiments show evolution happening ie DNA changing every generation and showing these changes are inherited. Its not all in the genes though…..its also how/if particular genes are expressed. Any road up FOW for the win is the first thing I look for when returning to the site. Awesome stuff. Also really… Read more »
To quote a true American hero..”Meat is murder…tasty tasty murder”.
Looking forward to the appearance at the euro tournament and hopefully a vlog to go with it.
Another good show and I look foward to seeing the spin-off series, “The Secrets of Pseudo-Science with Dr. Warren”. As someone who has complained in the past about the video game and movie content in XLBS, it’s not so much the discussion that bothers me, though I wouldn’t want it to take over the show. My issue was more around giving a large chunk of the running time to trailers. Though I could have lived without the trailer this week, at least it was only 2 minutes out of a half-hour show.
Is it just me who’s being stupid or…? Where can I find an overview of the articles that have been submitted?
@warzan If you can’t understand someone who has to have an historically correct army just think of a 40K / 30K player who has to have their army adhere exactly to the fluff.
That’s the best comparison, both groups of wargamers have their fair share of Rivet counters, the only difference being historical ones count real rivets 🙂
Or even just adhere to the army list. I’m both an historical gamer and an ancient historian and I could care less about the exact uniforms or when a certain type of helmet was used. As long as it’s roughly correct then I’m fine with it. Most historical gamers are.
That’s right a lot of historical armies on the table are generic.
Warren is the best!
Light at the end of the sunday tunnel, XLBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
