Grand show chaps except that I thought I had tuned into the Cheese Hunter at the start! 😛
Have recently started playing a bit of MTG. But am pretty clueless about it.
Some games can be a bit one sided but have had some great turnaround games too so great fun overall
Wish I could get to Gatecrash so have fun to all those attending.
Hey Guys if your looking to get your game on concerning magic the gathering.
Here is an online download for multi player online play. I’m onhere and play it quite a bit its good for creating a play style or to get involved with playing other people worldwide in a tourney style format.
http://www.wizards.com/magic/digital/magiconline.aspx?x=mtg/digital/magiconline/download
Its like ten bucks to start up but you can win tickets to buy more cards like I have. you get a starter deck of your choice.
Enjoy 🙂
ok, what is that machine next to Darrell on the table, and where can I get about 12 of them
That matey is a custom build I picked up way back at the start. It’s for a ‘future’ mechanicus guard attachment
Guys! What about the 6th ed Codex Reviews? You didn’t cover all of them…
I have this nightmare vision of Darrell being asked ‘What kind of a gun emplacement is that?’ and the response being ‘A Cheese Cannon. It destroys EVERYTHING’.
Is the cheese cannon a 75mm Cambombert by any chance?
Provolone! Armor Piercing assured!
This video confirms that everything Darrell’s do is just for getting more cheese on the table XD
just a little question, can Tyranids fire gun emplacements?
just because of the FAQ it says:
Q: Are Tyranid units inside buildings (i.e. the Bastion) subject to
instinctive behaviour tests? Furthermore, are they able to manual fire
emplaced weapons or weapon emplacements?
A: No to both questions.
so does this mean Tyranids in general or Tyranids in buildings(because no one can do that with the new faq if they are in the building)?
Guys… I think GW included stuff like weapon emplacements so you can add dimension to your games. What if there is a Deathstrike missile emplacement somewhere on the board and the first model to get in base contact with it gets to fire it… There would be a hell of a fight around that piece of terrain.
I will probably make one as there is a deathstrike missile in my bit-box.
That red telephone is such a great idea! (Don’t over-use it though…)
You know, the errata is bad enough for the people that paid £30 for the new codex, but think about those that paid £80 for the limited edition one.
That would be enough to put me off ever buying anything GW again if it was me.
But at least it was a really cool and awesome errata.
Hey guys, are you ever tempted to look into Dystopian Legions? I’m considering if I should buy into it and I’m just wondering if anyone had any previous gameplay experience of it.
Regards
Joe
Andy and Darrel being cheesy as usual… ergo was very surprised to hear Andy role played (very pleased though i might see if he can dig up some cheese for me to look out for as a GM) also love that lovely demon and yes MTG is addictive one of our local club members regularly blows two weeks pay on new cards…
Loving the weekender keep them coming 🙂
How many of us will now be searching through their bits boxes today. I’m not a cheesy player but it’s got to be worth a one off wind up.
I both can’t wait for, and am terrified of, the time when Darrel and Swampy to get in the same room together and compare cheese. The universe might implode.
Was having a look at the gun emplacements, and it turns out that only buildings that you buy for your army can have gun emplacements that work. So called neutral buildings are considered dilapidated the gun emplacements can’t be fired as stated on page 96 of the small rule book under Fortifications and Dilapidation. And as you at the moment can only really buy 4 pieces of terrain for your army, not as game changing as it could be.
I must say I was starting to worry a bit like always that Andy and Darrel where lost in the mail. Its great to see the team all back together now.
They may not be lost in the mail but they are still a penny stamp short of the full postage! 😛
Thanks for another great episode! Keep up the good work!
Good show again. As one is to expect when Andy and Darrel come aboard, there’s lot of blabbering about gamey aspects of the hobby which doesn’t tick any boxes for me. Thus one or two of the other co-hosts would’ve been a welcome addition, just to balance things out a bit. On second note, why switching back to the gaming table? I’ve seen too many people misusing (and actually damaging!) lovingly modelled terrain by just throwing all kinds of stuff onto it. Please don’t encourage such behaviour, guys! Anyway, looking forward to the next installments. Hopefully it’ll be back with… Read more »
lol, you caught Warren saying that too? oh well angels are all the same right? just like spacemarines lol.
First off loving the work you guys do, the content and the tips (wether its simple or just plain cheese) is great even on the other side of world in Little ol New Zealand. Second @warzan, i deffinatly agree with your comment in the video about buying a book and then having to carry around a piece of paper its not good the only difference is you guys in the northern hemisphere pay 25 pound, thats about 50ish new Zealand dollars. we Pay 98 new zealand dollars down here for the new hard back books thats about 45-50 pounds, so… Read more »
TBH I know you guys love the game and want to continue, but that is outrageous.
Sorry but a slender hardback book the size of The Beano Annual is not worth £50
You cannot put that down to transport and exchange rates.
Good grief 100 smackers if you have a 40K and WHFB army just for the army books?
agreed with you guys regarding the GW Dark Angel errata… bit annoying.
Ripper swarm that fires a deathstrike missile, people at work at looking at me funny at work as I try and stop laughing.
