RAAAH! All this teasing, please can I have it? I need to paint something, otherwise I’ll start painting my house and we can’t have productive use of our time now can we!
I love warpath because u brought out space dwarfs. Its been rumoured for years that they existed and finally we have the army they bring the fire and the pain warpath rules are great because it is exspandable so we can collect units for years to come think of all those Dwarfs IN SPACE the rule set is awsome and easy to grasp so someone like me who is busy with life and work can get in game or 2 and not invests hours but you we will. the hammer forged is our tool the armor made to keep us… Read more »
Warpath!! Which is exactly what my wife will be on if I bring anymore plastic soldiers into the house…
I love Warpath because;
1) It is made by Mantic, and the miniatures Mantic have made are some of the best i have seen, and lets not forget the cost of them.
2) In mantic’s own words “At Mantic Games, we are always looking to do things better.”
3) last but not least “It’s in space”.
Awesome deals from a company that actually cares about its fans? Plastic models with tons of options for converting? Easy rules that my young cousins can learn quickly and actually play games with? SPACE DWARFS!!1!!111!!!!1!!1
What other reason do I need? You guys have me excited for a game release for the first time…..
I think my first Marauder character will be named Darrel. Darrel… in…spaaaaaaace!
And as we know, everything is better in space!
PS: Ooooh, space nappies!
Darrel in Space has a theme tune …..

Even paths are better in spaaaace.
I like Warpath, because for a while now, there has not been a high quality alternative to 40k for large space battles. It is nice to see the company growing and diversifying. (and also being much more affordable than most other games on the market)
I love Warpath because it finally means I can convince my friends to play enourmous Sci Fi battles!
Because the gauge in the Warpath logo goes over 40.000.
And also because of its amazing sense of humour.
No-one but Mantic would give us Dwarfs who can move almost as fast as other races that’s right ladies and gentlemen in a vacuum even dwarfs feel light!!
Mantic………… in SPACE!
dwarfs………… in SPACE!
seriously, this game is going to be very nice, easy to lern but hard to master, rather cheap, with a load of variety! you do not need tons of books to look throuh, you do not have tons of rules that have to be clarified… simple, fun…
the concept arts look great.
i´m not gonna be disappointed if i dont win, couse i´m gonna buy it anyway! but i´d be very happy to own my copy of warpath, thats signed!
you guys are great, ceep on doing waht you do, couse this is good stuff!
Warpath is awesome because:
1) 90%(or more) time can be spent playing the game instead of redundantly measuring movement for each little guy in the squad.
2) The human expansionist tactics mimic those of our own world, or in other words evil humans in space.
3) I don’t have to buy 12 $30+ codexes to know what the opposing armies are capable of.
4) Dwarves in space, need anyone say more?
Mantic got me back into wargaming after 10 years away, and just as I was looking into starting a sci fi army warpath appeared, I’m starting to wonder if Ronnie’s business skill are bolstered by his telepathy or if its the other way round.
Avatars of War took my interest, but my extensive wargaming group and others in my area are more into sci-fi games. Me and my brother are testing the beta rules for a few days now, and we absolutely love it. This prize would be the perfect thing to get alot of people in our area into a nice alternative to the 40K universe.
And of course Marauders in space are just too cool to pass up.
Warpath!, the british empire in space!,a galaxy at war, take part in massive planetary conflict or play out the famous battle of Orc’s Drift, the possibilities are endless, add to this the epic background story, the solid and easy to play rules, the value for money and the high quality of the miniatures, it all adds up to something very special. And with the great team at Mantic and Beasts of War i’m sure they can take Warpath to the final frontier!
This is why i can’t wait for WARPATH!
Hundreds of lasers, bombs, bfgs, tanks and aircrafts for cheap, with good minis and interesting background, who doesn´t love that.
Why?
1) I like the game mechanics to be streamlined and clean
2) It seems, that the game will actually be sci-fi, not “fantasy with lazors” – despite the fantasy races
3) Emphasis on troops, guns and morale – not heroes with huuuge swords
I love Warpath as it is so much simpler and more flixable to learn and use than other wargaming rule sets (not mentioning any names… )
Allowing more flexibility with rules leads to more fun when playing!
Having played several games now, I am absolutely hooked- I’m even going to call my first Marauder Fighter “Big Bronze Stag” in honour of the …erm, big bronze stag ornament I used to represent it on the battlefield! Looking forward to collecting the miniatures for this- already a massive fan of Kings of War, as are my twins. I love how the rules themselves work- simplified with out being “dumbed down” at all, and we’ve played a few games using different troop types to get a good feel of the rules and troop types- so far Marauders definitely did the… Read more »
Why Mantics WarPath? I have been playing 40K sense the days of Rouge Trader (still have my copy of it). I have seen the 40k world go from a game of endless possibilitys, To a closed world of dictatorial nonsense. A game where you can have cheap minis and tanks (always a gear head ), to the highest priced minis on the market, from using any minis you have, to than needing that they be at least 75% GW, To now GW only Minis. The whole time the little guys keep falling away, because of Price, rules, or some GW… Read more »
As a set of rules, Warpath is elegant in its simplicity, but with a scope that encompasses pretty much the full range of warfare options. There’s no feeling that support for vehicles or aircraft etc has been ‘tacked on’ afterwards, and the unit types in the beta seem well balanced from the get go. My only reservation? Orcs and Dwarves. In Space. It just doesn’t sound like it should work. Send me some models and prove me wrong 😉
I like Warpath cuz its not from GW !!!
I love Warpath because:- Mantic have taken the essentials – what everyone wants from a sci-fi game – and blended it into a quick and easy game that can be enjoyed on a variety of scales; from skirmish level all the way up to mammoth battles for the lives of millions of peoples. This ability to scale the game means that not only do we have a game which is going to be great for those who are familiar with the large scales, but also new players just getting started in the world of being a hobbyist. Removing that daunting… Read more »
I don’t know that I love it yet, but I love Kings of War, I love Ronny’s models, and I love Alessio’s games, also Mantic are not Games Workshop so I love that too. Keep fighting the good 32mm fight.
I love Warpath because 10 minutes are enough to learn the rules and start playing!
