Darrell has a look at the tactics you can use when your playing the Seize Ground mission in Warhammer 40K... but what will his cheesy plan contain this time?

I don’t buy this. As the opponent will have the last turn they can still sit behind cover and walk into open ground objectives as their last move.
I play Eldar and I do these sorts of nasty things as the last move with my jetbikes or Guardians leftovers. Sometimes combined with a fast grav-tank-shock into an objective. But this is no problem with slower armies as well.
PS: Objective capturing missions are my favourite in 40k. Not only tense to the last turn but also give some sense of purpose. Like capturing airfields by US marines on Pacific islands in WW2
Darrel does tactics for Tau…New series brought to you by BoW!
I played against Tau with my Mech/Air Assault IG and used the out in the open objective placement tactic. He put his behind a nice fat rock formation on his side. He pushed his big kroot/hound unit across the board toward my objective and kept his firewarriors in ‘fish back on his. I took out his anti armor and with the meltas and krunched up the firewarriors with the MRPs and Marbo. So he could only contest his… Read more »
Sadly most this is invalid as you roll deployment type (and subsequent first turn etc) after placing the objectives in Seize Ground.
Unless you’re in tournament but still then you know the deployment type but not who is deploying where as you roll off afterwards any way.
The basics of placement denial is good, but you cannot be hoping to have a particular board edge/side.
Why the thumbs down when I’m right? :/
You first put down objectives than you roll for wich side you are starting, i would welcome an opponent who does this and i happily take 1st turn.
Lol, darrell has a nice 12″ ring!
what are those little red objective makers called ? would i be able to get them on ebay ?
Nice vid, found it interesting. Lots of tactics in objective placement
2 things wrong with this video:
1) the opponent could put his first objective behind the second bunker
2) no ones coughed up the money for Darrell to get full rocket launcher devesater squads
