Take a look at these models... Space Dwarves... the Pegamini Design website says they are 30mm scale.
But if you take a look at the scale guide on their site you can see they may still fit in a 28mm world.

I really like them – they look good and seem to not be too zany or off the wall, nice one.
I like the squat and powerful look the two in suits have rather and just the short human look some GW dwarfs have, but the shirtless one maybe looks a bit too much like an Ogryn that shrunk in the wash.
I laughed… It does look like a shrunk ogre !

They remind me a bit of something out of Enclave, or from Hunter: The Demons Forge – with the steampunk/sci-fi thing going on. Might have to see if I can get hold of some of these heh.
let me just go get a mop to clean the drink i dropped after i saw these sketches. im love struck for the second time (first time over that bjoorn highsomthing model on on the table last week)
They do look very dwarfy, almost too dwarfy to a degree. i didnt think there would be something such as too dwarfy, but these guys pulled it off somehow. I expect dwarfs to be of powerful build, but they made these guys out to be miniature bearded incredible hulks. So i guess i find them as a little too beefy, but the gear and armor designs are top notch
These look fantastic!
In my humble opinion, I find the legs impossibly short. Don’t get me wrong, I love the rest of the atonomy of the dwarves, but the legs need rework – they need knees!
ABSOLUTLY amazing!!! Now thats what a dwarf should look like. Love the thick set body and stumpy legs 😀
A little static for my tastes, but the Crush hammer one looks like a great choice for a Forgefathers HQ >:D
