i was under the impression that you could declare if you are going to attack the unit or the character. As long as they are within 2 inches.
“fist the regular guys” “do soem fistign at the end of combat” Darrell you dirty dirty man lol.
Good tactics btw.
Darrell.. you just cant help being a dirty boy.. “fist the regular guys” love it..
Thanks for the tips. helps me loads
I dont get this. If he is like a special trooper in a unit he might still be killed from wound allocation. As long as his unit suffers 6 or more wounds. Hiding like this will only give you the benefit of being able to choose your target to strike.
If the thunderhammer dude was an IC, he wouldnt be able to hit anyone at all since he is not in btb with any opponent, right?
a unit of assault terminators with thunder hammers and strom shields with a chaplain and in a land raider is a deadly combination, especially if you get to charge, that’s 15 attacks at streangth 8 with power wapons and you get to re-roll all failed to hit and to wound rolls; the only downfall is that you won’t be able to field a lot of them and their low initiative; tha’ts when 3+ invulnerable save from storm shields comes in handy; i’ve seen such a unit devastating deamon princes, greater deamons, other terminators, sanguinary guard and much more scary stuff
Is it me, or did you paint those wolves ultrasmurf blue? Does your heresy know no bounds, Darrell?
fisting is always a valid tactic
The nitty grittyness of CC is always a crucial element, especially with dark eldar.
Would be good to see a video on the Archon Court in combat and getting shot at when it comes to wound allocation and who you can take your enemies attacks on or who they can decide to attack and how that effects what WS they fight against and so on and so on lol. Only used them once and it was a nightmare.
Then not only is there a display of fisting going on, but whipping and drugging and punch daggers entering and all sorts!
Hahahaha thanx Darrell!!
Hope you come to Spain sometimes to see how us,Spaniards, kick asses with 40K!!
This doesn’t make sense, unless what your talking about is hiding IC from combat, wounds are allocated just like the shooting phase “these wounds are allocated against the target unit by the controlling player, exactly like the fire of a single enemy unit during the shooting phase This means that all of the models in the target unit can be hit, including those that are not engaged!” also you cant move through ‘gaps’ unless you’ve already put units on the ones making the gap. you need to go the shortest route. “• If possible, the model must move by the… Read more »
I too am lost, I thought Close Combat was resolved with wound allocation the same as for shooting. Darrell, you need to post a clarification back here, the almighty book speaks from it’s tome differently than what you have just described,,,
