ah come on darrel you were not supposed to tell everybody how to kill genestealers, thats totally ruining their good reputation!
BTW: the stealer shock list on nid week works well, just need a tervigon to give fnp to them some hive guard and 2 zoeys and your good to go.
have a good weekend
Hows about:
HQ: Tervigon
Tervigon
Troops: Termagaunt Brood (10)
Termagaunt Brood (10)
Termagaunt Brood (10)
Tervigon (Scuttling Swarm)
Tervigon (Scuttling Swarm)
Tervigon (Scuttling Swarm)
Approx. 1000pts, but you have sooo many termagaunts it would be ridiculous.
genestealers are fearless …..
You couldn’t be more wrong.
Darrell, don’t you use land raiders like ALL the time? It seems like most of the time I watch a video you’re goin’ on about land raiders. Were those old videos and you’ve changed your opinion?
I think that the landraider is dead now walking and running is king. Spare the 250-300 for the landraider and take more terminators
genesteelers are only fearless if they are in synapse range. On there own they are not fearless. This is a common mistiake.
They have brood telepathy, so they don’t need synapse range, or so I believe.
And Darrel, what do you mean stay behind them and make them run off the board?
All the brood telepathy does is make it so they don’t have to take instinctive behavior tests. Genestealers are NOT fearless.
If you want them to be fearless, they must be in synapse range in order to gain the ability from a synapse creature
Hey Darrell, why are your wolf guard terminators disguised as ultramaries?
What happens when a genestealer out of synapse turns and flees back into synapse range, while followed by the terminator?
When they flee back into synapse range, they become fearless an auto rally; however, they can’t do their normal move that turn. They could still run though.
Even though an enemy unit would be within 6 inches and you normally couldn’t rally, because you regain the fearless ability, it happens automatically because fearless units cannot flee
The unit must start in synapse range at the beginning of the turn though
And am I the only one that things this video may have been edited to take out Darrel’s initial reaction?
“My terminators never fail their counter-attack roll…. ah sh$%”
Maybe, but I laughed 🙂
That was pretty funny….
wait but who would take 20 gene’s and not put in a broodlord and the brood lord would just hypo gaze that last guy and the gene’s dont take a wound … also if playing spear head you could load your 6 squand os gens in a the spear head with the krak/frag nads and the auto reform rule and this would never happen
Its an illustrative example and to be fair the genestealers add up to more points than the termies
Re-roll all your misses?! How many Mrs’s does Darrel have?! haha.
Sorry that was crap.
I like the old powerfist/storm bolter and kantor combination. Assault cannon if it can be afforded. Sometimes in a land raider but normally on foot, gunning all down in my path!
But don’t rending attacks count as AP 2?
He accounted for the rending with the red dice and went by the invul save which is 3 up with the shield I think.
