Taban Miniatures Add More Survivors To The World Of Eden
September 6, 2013 by brennon
Taban Miniatures have seven new miniatures coming to the world of Eden this month and below are two of the miniatures that will be gracing the tabletop. See what you think...
The first of the models, Kelisha is certainly something different from them and has gone down the tribal root. I actually like that they have tried to make it look like she's throwing the spear too but that must be a ruddy headache to try and put away once you're done!
The Mercenary Survivor on the other hand isn't a model I immediately fell in love with. For some reason I can't get past the way his lands look and he seems a bit top heavy too. It might just be the angle but he looks a bit squished and oddly formed.
Eden is one of those European games I think passes under the radar of most people and it would be good to hear if any of you have played this one.

Eden is a good game. It’s got a very simple base system and the factions are fun and can be very symbiotic. I’d recommend it to anyone as its fun, the models are beautiful and its cheap to get into.
Hey, That’s Ken from Fist of the North Star. Possible cease and desist incoming…
Don’t be silly… They’re not GW, whoever they are. They don’t take umbrage from an obvious hommage, and they’re not making any games or miniatures, so no problem here.
These aren’t that good, IMHO.
The problem is Mohand is pretty much the sole sculptor and manager for all the Eden range, as far as I can tell, and he’s getting a bit overwhelmed (and he’s also not that good a sculptor… i mean, he has his moments, but his proportions and movements are “on-and-off”… and these two are clearly “off”).
I’ve got a few of the Eden range and I can kindof see your point dude, but in this case Ken is pretty spot on as the anime/ manga model has always been freakishly out of proportion 🙂
Hm. That’s true… It really is spot on, then !
Kelisha has very dynamic pose while that Mercenary Survivor oozes that same badassery that Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star has.
Yup, for Ken that is pretty much spot on.
I may get that figure just to pop on my Manga Shelf.
Just need a Jagi, Toki and Raoh now so I can get the whole family ^.^
