System ∞ the New MDF Range from Sarissa Precision
January 9, 2012 by beerogre
Sarissa Precision has been making historical and modern combat MDF Terrain for a while now... but this month they launch their brand new sci-fi range... System ∞
There are no images of the assembled terrain, as yet, but we do have the technical drawings to whet your appetite.
Liking these. Especially the silos. The street awning is a nice detail not always seen on the table. Prices are pretty good too.
Frontlinegamer has done a review of them with pictures of assembled buildings. They are great and would work well in Infinity, I can see them be especially cool on an ariadna themed table.
I see you got the ininity comment in before me. Thumbs up for you.
Hang on I sent Warren Links to my articles over a week AGO!!! lol. If you want pics I can email them you. lol.
They seem simple yet effective pieces that can be used in many games, say Infinity. Just an idea 😉
I did a video review of the silo kit on youtube

useful video – thanks
I think the coolest thing of these (they’re all great!) is the “bus stop”. It’s so out of the box thinking in terms of wargaming terrain that it’s brilliant. This single piece of terrain tells more story than then the others combined.
I agree – it’s one thing I’m looking to add to my gaming tables, signs of life. Stuff that will make the table looked lived in or fought over. Ammo crates, fuel drums, street lights, dumped boxes/crates, old/rusting civilian transport – even refugees and carts, dogs, broken tree stumps. All these items can be small and easily moveable so you can still ‘game’, we’re not making a railway layout.
These look fantastic.
Can’t wait to get my hands on some.
They remind me of the buildings in the settlements in Mass Effect 2, and given that’s exactly what i wanted to scratchbuild for infinity, this is perfect and portable, brilliant stuff!
