Great video. I dig the Trenchers, even if my Cygnar playing friends don’t. :p
I’m seeing this scenario as kinda like one of those puzzle scenarios in No Quarter Magazine. Could the Behemoth, with the properly allotted focus, Trample to the side of the smoke template’d trenchers, and then launch two bombard attacks on Magnus? (Assuming his 7″ trample is enough to give him line-of-sight to Magnus, of course.)
I like the Trencher Models, and the things you could do with them. They’re pretty hard to kill with ranged attacks, as I know cause I’m always on the other side of those Trenchers. Facing them with some Winterguard^^

Yep if you’re playing Mercs and you are running Magnus the Traitor, a full unit of “Traitor Trenchers” is superb! 😀

Nice vid, I run trenchers to give Caine somewhere safe to teleport to, one thing to add though, if you keep them lined up base to base (no risk of blast damage) you can CRA half the unit, alternate models, then smoke with the other half, the smoke covers them all. Just watch out for enemies that don’t incur free strikes, they can ‘engage’ you while moving past & kick you out of the holes, leaving you exposed to blasts.
