New Starmada Fleet from Brigade Models
October 17, 2011 by beerogre
If you're into your starship combat games, then have a look at the latest release from Brigade Models for their Starmada range.
These are technically a re-release of the South African Confederation ships, but they've been remastered and have been brought back to their original glory following the degredation of the previous moulds.
You can check out the rest of the Starmada range HERE.
i own gzg starships for full thrust, I can see a use for these.
Only issue is that, like gzg, they have those silly little plastic bases which I find a pain as my ship often fall over and snap the tip off the base. I think the models shown might have a metal stem by the looks of it. Id rather a bigger metal base with a plastic ship- heres dreaming
Clicking the link i see the plastic bases are not standard supply but should you use them they do a metal insert to help with weight balance

I really like Brigade Models’ stuff. The Aeronef models are particularly nice.
Fantastic starships, I feel they deserve a better paint job to really catch the eye.
I may have to get a few of these for my Firestorm Armada Terran battlegroup.
The Isandlwana class Battleship would be a good variant cruiser and look fantastic next to the gargantuan Razorthorn Battleship from Spartan.
