Sneak Peek at the New Yu Jing Remotes Joining Infinity!
July 5, 2012 by dignity
Here at Beasts of War we love it when we get to show you guys something a little early. Well the guys at Infinity have once again provided us with an exclusive sneak peek. Check out these new attack remotes which will soon be joining the Yu Jing battle force.
These guys are worthy of note, not just because they look amazing, but because they have the most unpronounceable name to have yet appeared in Infinity, or possibly anywhere in gaming outside of H.P. Lovecraft.
Say it with me kids, these are the Yáoxiè Rui Shi and Yáoxiè Lù Duãn.
Unlike the previously released Yu Jing remotes, these things are more aimed towards attack, rather than support or defense. The Yáoxièmathingamajigs can come equipped with weapons with high burst and medium range, such as the Spitfire or the MK12. This means that once they can get up close to the enemy they can start engaging in some vicious fire fights. Just the thing to stop those pesky Ariadna or Haqqislam in their tracks.
Do you think these Yaoxieph'nglui will help you to grab the offensive? How do you think the sculpts compare to Yu Jing's other remotes, the Yáopú Pangguling or the YàoKóng?
Those are very nice looking additions. Besides more offensive remotes are always welcome.
Just like the Pangguling these are very like Starship Troopers warrior bugs – clawed legs, multiple ‘eyes’ and the orangey colour scheme make them seem almost organic, very slightly like Combined Army stuff. Great looking and even quite menacing figs.
Fantastic as usual. Not only are the weapons good but their skills are great too. One of them comes with multispectral visor and the other has holoprojector L1.
These guys look awesome!
Yep, and if I recall both or just one of the has heavy flamer as well, but I may be mistaken (Don’t have my book on me and can’t log on the Infinity Army right now). I’m now just asking myself when will a sculpt for Neko Oyama come out. I’m a bit tireed of proxying him with my normal Domarus.
absolutely beautiful
Oh yeah, and forgot about it, but the multispectral one is the is the only way to get MSV on the Japanese Sectorial, if, again, I’m not horribly mistaken.
