Send In The World Eater Legion Red Butchers!

Forge World are adding to the host of the World Eater Legion with the Red Butchers. These mad and dangerous individuals are looking particularly awesome and should be shedding blood on many a battlefield.
These are some pretty great looking miniatures from Forge World and it's neat to see them going back to infantry over their myriad of tanks. Of course some of their bigger creations are magnificent but it's nice to see what they can do on a smaller level too.
I like their stances, as if they are laying waste to everything around them and all of them have my seal of approval apart from maybe the leader model who looks like he's in the middle of a dance move. Maybe with a bit of chopping and changing with the stance he could be improved though.

Not a huge fan of these, Just the armour iconography seems to suit the post heresy style a little better for me, perhaps painted in red and gold?
Not bad but prefer other styles.
What I do really like about FW’s heresy releases is the way that the legions are developing their own character. I’m looking forward to seeing more releases for the loyalist legions to see what can be used to add more character to 40k marines.
I reckon they are dancing to ‘staying alive’… On a serious note, FW is producing some cracking models, I’m spoilt for choice!
Martial arts and dance have very close links in a lot of cultures but I see what you all mean. The two either side mirroring each other pretty much seals it.
I can’t wait for the next season of Strictly 🙂
Cracking models, but the leader stance is move of a groin injury than a dance move. Must resist 30k
Great sculpts but I must say thanks guys (and FW) for giving me the best laugh I’ve had in ages! I almost spat coffee all over my monitor when I read that and saw the second picture. Now I can’t help but look at that leader and think of Dancing Queen (especially the ‘you can dance’ bit). ABBA themed 30k terminators – all called Benni and Bjorn – it’s the future, the most grim and dark of all futures…
Joking apart, very nice models and suitably imposing with the wide open stances. Would want to alter the leader’s stance personally though as Ben says, I’m not too sure what he’s meant to be doing.
Interesting to see that Forge World are taking miniature posing from promo posters for Las Vegas magician David Copperfield! The model with the lightning claws…. SHAZAM! Another quality release but its all about the primarch model of Mortarion. I got the demon prince version, just want the old school Morty!
I must admit I tend to look at a lot of other legion stuff on FW from a point of view of how would this look done as they are in 40k now as I can only really justify one Legion to the Mrs unless she decides she wants some pretty boy emps children.
