The Sedition Wars Kickstarter Bulks Out with Loads of Extras!
June 27, 2012 by brennon
So most of you will know that Studio McVey are doing a Kickstarter for Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster but do you know just what kind of extras are coming if you pledge at certain levels? Check out two of the load out options below...
You might need to click these to make them bigger since there is SO much on offer from the Kickstarter so far...
As you can see, there appears to be a lot of familiar faces appearing in the Sedition Wars range. Alien, Battle Star Galactica, Dead Space and even Firefly (obviously the best of the lot...) are appearing in various guises for the release of Sedition Wars.
There's also a rather awesome looking criminal hidden in the shadows...
You might recognise him as the deadly anti-hero Riddick but he's actually Keegan Kor so don't worry! I will admit this is quite a lot to digest but that's a fair amount of stuff floating around for you to grab when you pledge for Sedition Wars.
What from this treasure trove takes your fancy?

Finding it hard not to drop $200 on this….
In my case it’s hard finding the $200 to drop on it so soon after Mantics kickstarter, definitely must have Biohazard pledge and the Hexen Phaedrus minis though. Being picky, but seeing as they’ve smashed all the targets so far could they not give us Europeans free postage too? That cash could stretch to another characters set + mech or a 2nd set of tiles.
The quantity and quality of minis available to backers of this project is rather delightful but I think I’ll give it a miss myself, not a fan of the art style but I’ll be keeping my eye out on the miniatures range!
Some of the most cool models and all for a good price.
Still a few days left guys! Must be getting harder for those who have not pledged yet to resist this one. With all the free swag on offer from the impressive funding reward scheme and the enthusiasm from the game developers themselves this game release could blow many other boardgames out of the water in regards to quality and value for money. It looks like it plays fast and simple, but with a lot of tactics and strategic choices to play with. I think it’s safe to say this is the birth of a classic game here =D
This game is rocking. Studio McVey and CoolMiniOrNot are doing a great job! 8 hours to go and the game’s on it’s final stretch. The last stretch, to beat Ogre with $923,681 will see us get a Barker Zosa in an exo-skeleton.
All the funky free stuff you get with Biohazard, and optional gear:
