Scibor Summon the Daemon Lord of Sci-Fi
June 21, 2013 by dracs
Scibor Monstrous have released another of their heavily armoured heroes of sci-fi. This time we are getting a Demon Lord, depicted in the act of summoning up his malignant servants.
I think that this is one of Scibor's more impressive sci-fi knights. The pose is rather bland and uninteresting, but the miniature shows off a great level of detail on the armour and his mace is particularly impressive.
The show stealer though is the base of the model. Nothing about the model really screams daemon lord to me, except for the way he is depicted standing upon a mass of writhing, screaming faces. That looks awesome and means this mini could make the perfect Chaos Sorcerer.
Will you make a pact with Scibor's daemonic powers?

I do love this figure but it would be great if you could buy the base seperately….I reckon they would sell quite a few!
Althought model itself does look very nice that base is even better.
I love the base… and the work on the mace as well, in spite of the skulls.
Still, yet another Chaos guy, yet another space m… er… soldier… Enough already !
Scibor can do better, and more original. I know sales dictate he should continue doing “40k hommage”, but surely he has other projects and ideas up his head than simply re-doing the same figure over and over again with different ornaments and weaponry !
This time I have to agree with you. The crew over at Scibor can do better and we all seen them. Please Scibor rethink a new unique space warrior that will turn heads and show of your true skills. Your “Chaos Dwarf” range is a fantastic example of this cool design style you have.
That mace! They should sell that and the base as bits.
