New Robotic Minis From Critical Mass
August 18, 2011 by dracs
Critical Mass have a new robotic addition to their 15mm sci-fi range, the Praesentia Assault RAL.
I've never been particularly sold on 15mm miniatures, but I have always been impressed with the quality of sculpts from Critical Mass and these guys are no exception.
What do you guys make of these? Do you like them? Do you hate them? Will you buy them? Let us know you thoughts.

I think it’s company-sized mixed arms games where 15mm truly shine. Personally I find large sci-fi skirmishes in 15mm much better looking than the 40k tank parking lot situation. Plus, the sculpts are faster to produce and so the range grows really fast – the makers can afford even slightly niche sculpts that wouldn’t provide a guaranteed return in 28mm. Where else can you find power-armoured orcas? 😀
Gruntz 15mm (check it out) has just got itself some power armor I truly like…
Will be using these with Tomorrow’s War from Ambush Alley Games.
