i love useing roads . my city bourd has all roads plus a lot of city and damaged buildings .
How about bikes and rough riders? any effect?
Are they vehicles? nope. So no effect.
Forgeworld had a fantastic road set.Sadly they dont sell this product anymore.Does anybody know where i could get hold of this set?
These guys do a pretty nice looking road/city block system

Of course a marine player wants roads. That way he can rob skimmers of their advantage. Light armour and speed will be nothing compared to landraiders that are just as fast.
1st 6″ for free, which all the ladys would love…..If I lived near BoW I would buy you a beer!
Im suprised you didnt make a Blood Angels joke as well :P, nice vid thanks for explaining this.
The “6 in” joke was bad. Heh. Roads do make it easier to target tanks ;D
Its too sexy when using a lance ;D
@darrell What about super heavy tanks? Doesn’t it say that they can only move 6″ maximum? I’ve had this argument with someone during an apocalypse, but never got round to reading into it.
I would write a good quote down here… but I’m far too hungover.
I have Defiler and (soon) two chaos Dreadnoughts, WHAT do I do with ROADS?!?! And Obliterators can shoot pretty well(and they can be teleported/deep striked to the battlefield so no walking for them(damn fatsos…)). And(finally) my Raptors(converted) can jump to the enemy.
@masterofbunies Defilers and dreadnoughts are walkers, so are unaffected by roads.
haha time gods say no. very good Justin but don’t be so lazy
It should be: “How Roads Affect Vehicles.”
p57 – Vehicles with the exception of walkers and skimmers….may move up to and exrtra 6 inches. Very straight forward – pun intended.
