I’m a real boy… or is that monster???

Smartmax have been a company that Lloyd has been very keen on, having bough their Streetpot Willy model last year just after Games Day.
However, Smartmax have just released the image for their latest steampunk monstrosity... Pinokio!
Obviously based on the storybook character of a similar name, this big mechanical beastie has that mixture of fun and horror that Smartmax seems to do particularly well.
Tell me what you think guys... do you like this Smartmax stuff as much as us?

I’ve always found smart max a bit hit and miss I love there shaking steven and the new Lord Holmes royal assasin. But then there are some meh sculpts like this and the marquias of carabra. But a great company 🙂
I love it ! However, it’s 54mm, so I’m not able to use it as much as I’d want for games and such… Although some of the minis can pass for a giant 30mm creature(such as the Golem and some of the aliens), human figures just can’t be used at all…

Well, that’s the exact same difference there is between a 6ft average man and a 6ft 6in let’s say… basket player ! Secondly, Smart Max do not edit miniatures for them to be “of use”. How could anyone play Miss Ticklenott, Lord Baron Mantes or Doctor Zeels in any sci-fi or medieval fantasy 30mm game, tell me ? As for rumors of a game and a closing, there you got something… Read more »
