Ramshackle Unleash the Slag Dragon
December 12, 2011 by dracs
Ramshackle Games have a new gribbly monster to spring out on under the feet of your foes. Check out the Slag Dragon!
This tunnelling monster will be perfect as a large dungeon encounter in a game of D&D or even just as some kind of xenos monstrosity to ambush some unsuspecting Space Marines.
Should you desire this creature can also be modified into something rather more disgusting. Minus the arms and head and you have the Slag Maggot!
So guys what are your thoughts on this creature? What might you use it for?
If you use this with all the parts in D&D or any similar game system (instead of as a Trygon) you could magnetize the pieces and remove them as it takes damage. The attachment points look big enough to try that at least…plus it would look good naked (for lack of a better word) in a diorama – preferably coming out of an asteroid-like structure with some kind of tramp freighter desperately trying to escape it.
This seems very good. You can have many looks just by choosing to use some parts as @thc303 said.
Nice gribbly monster. Perfect for a nasty dungeon encounter in a roleplay 😀

One of the nice things about Ramshackle is they sell all the bits individually. You can swap and change and mess around with all sorts of bits and bobs across the entire range. Perhaps they will be making some more organic gribbly things in future, I can see a fair few uses across a number of games systems for big bug bits.
4 comments and nobody has pointed out the “not”-Mawloc-ness of it?
Looks pretty cool either way. I like that it can be assembled without the legs to make it a giant maggot thing.
Why was I expecting something completly different when I read “Slag Dragon” ?
